The Academy Arc

I blushed and balled up my fist. "Who said anything about marriage? You tryna be funny?" I poked out my lips and folded my arms. I looked at the both of them. "What's going on?" I said, letting out a sigh. Weird ass school...

I look directly at her, a light behind my dull eyes. "For one, this isnt a..How did you put it? "Weird ass school". Its eccentric. Secondly why should it matter what we converse about?" "Oh come now, abaddon it is quite rude to read some ones mind with your "revealing light". Let her explain of her own accord. It's her first time seeing a prince after being revealed...so naturally she would be...hm...shaken up." A small flat looking piece of light flies by me, it bears the symbols of my kin and you recognize it to be some light based demon....two more fly by and simply just flutter around us as we look at you, waiting for a response.

I stuttered and looked at them like they were mad men. "Okay. Reading people's thoughts now!? Okay, that's just wrong. How long has that been going on?" I took two steps back away from those two and squinted. "and what should I have to explain?" I said, slightly sneering with indignance. I sighed and looked off. "Oh. and eccentric is a 'nice' way of putting it."

Getting tired of waiting for sunset to come and help his eyesight out a bit. Jeiku went inside the school anyhow to look for his room again. Hopefully this time having better luck with doing so.

"You have to explain something in particular, Your checkered past....That naberius was not only after my brother, He has after you as well. For a specific reason. Your heritage."[/color] Akiyo glides over to you and looks directly at you whilst those small light demons fly in between us. "Your demonic parent is of importance to them. If we dont identify him or her quickly...They may have some sort of way to lure you out and use you for whatever purpose they want. If we however find out who or what it is, We can provide counter measures to whatever sort of trick or reverse engineered science they may attempt to deploy."

I lowered my eyes. "There's not much to explain, really. Yeah sure, you get the gist that I'm half demon, and all. But quite frankly, I don't know myself. Since I'm an orphan... I'm afraid that I don't know who my mom is. She's the one that was half demon. Can I stop now...?"

"Sure you can stop...If you want to be in danger of falling prey to a tempt hex...." Akiyo shifts and produces a light from the tip of his right finger and it forms a holy cross. "Back in the days of old it was used to lure out heretics associated with demons...It would prey on the feternal bond a demonic child and parent had in order to trick and eventually kill both.....I have no Idea what this person wants from you....possibly to use you as a weapon? Or even to attack us directly..? Nobody knows."

I folded my arms. "Then what do you expect me to do then, huh?" I blinked and wrapped my fingers around my satchel's 'arm' and sighed. "I don't know anything, making me instantly useless."

".....Are you being serious..?" Akiyo try's to hold back a laugh while the cross on his fingertip turns and shifts into a fire like substance. "You may have forgotten, But that doesn't mean the demonic blood that runs through you hasn't. Correct?" He flicks the light projection until it glimmers out of existence. "Truth of the matter is, That splinter sect may attempt to use you as I said; Be it a sleeper cell, Or a way to augment themselves in some way...That much I'm certain." Mephisto claps his hands and with his usual flamboyant flare announces "Shall we begin then?"

I grunted. "Start what?" Sometimes I wish I was normal, but noooo... I get stuck with a clown, and nerd. Great. I hope you heard that, Akiyo! I dropped my bag to the floor and folded my arms.

(It's cool... I don't blame ya.)

"Nerd? Didnt know that word was still even used. I suppose you forgot your jerital this morning ayumi?" Mephisto walks over to you and swings his umbrella, a few sigils appear and I begin arranging them around you in a ring. "This will probably hurt. Alot."

"I'm glad you got the point." I hesitated. "Wait... what are you doing?" I squinted at him in detest.

A horrible pain rushes through your body, it feels as if your very being is being split in two....akiyo simply spins the runes faster and your shadow begins to elongate...it rises up beside you inside the ring and begins to take form. This pain is so horrible it basically keeps you still.....And just like that...a copy of you is made. However the runes still continue to glow and extract more power from you in order to make it perfect. "Almost done..."

Only a ray of shrieks was allowed to come from my mouth. This pain was unbearable! Tears ran down my face but I couldn't move. It was like I was paralyzed.

The sigils stop spinning and an exact clone looks at you. Silence befalls the rune as the certainly demonic based magic begins to stop, An exact clone...How odd.

I panted heavily and reached for my arm. "W-what is this...?" My eye twitched and I closed my mouth.

The sigils dissipate the the clone walks away, stopping in front of mephisto and turning around to look at you. "Isn't it obvious? We're going to lure out who-ever has been hunting you and akiyo so we can capture them." The clone emulates exactly what you just did...Only difference is it didn't talk.

I doubled over and dropped to the floor in sitting position, holding my stomach. "This sucks... I think I'm gonna be sick..."

"Of course it does. This was a perfect clone so we needed to draw out your true self for a few moments. The self you forgot." Akiyo walks over and attaches a few tags to the clone that quickly meld into its skin. Within seconds the clone is escorted out of the room by a few average looking exorcist.

I looked up. "The... the self I forgot...? What do you mean by that...?" I squinted unsurely.

Akiyo combs his hair out of his eyes and seems to stare directly into your very soul. "You have forgotten your inner demons. Simple as that ; Why else are you not able to gain full advantage of your powers or even retain memory of who gave you them? The truth is simple, Like I said you have forgotten your true self." He walks over and begins talking very low with mephisto. Seems they are planning something again.

My odd green eyes darted to my arm. I tried to remember something, anything, but nothing came to mind. "Hmmm...." I pressed my back to the wall and looked at them.

The room slowly empties out leaving you to your own devices. Seems everyone is now focused on making the trap and watching any sort of phenomina in order to discern who is the perpetrator.
