The Academy Arc

"Did you remember to bring your cell phone?" "Yes mom." Ryo sighed as his mother asked him if he remembered something for the tenth time. "Well remember to call us if you need anything!" Ryo's mom said as she kissed both Ryo and Enjeru on the cheeks, "And both of you get really strong, okay?" Their father said. "Yes dad! Now bye!" Ryo said, angrily as he reluctantly gave his mom and dad a hug and headed to the Opening Ceremony, "Bye honey(s)!" Their parents said. Ryo waved his hand back as he walked away and headed to the ceremony in a white button up, hanging open and dark blue cargo pants and sandals. Finally, I'm free......

Kyo was able to attend the ceremony today, but if he tainted a single 1st year he would be locked in the dungeon for a month this time. The only way he would get off easy was if that same person was assigned to his dorm. Furthermore, he felt iritable while being forced to wear the school uniform. What he didn't like about suits is because they hid the appearance of muscles. It wasn't just that, as good as he wanted to be, he was already starting to loose his nerve. All he needed was some kid to talk to, and refrain from showing his true colors. Before he knew it, Kyo was beside himself and pacing around the foyer like a madman.

(Just thought this would be funny)

After the ceremony (sleep session) Ryo started to head to his new dorm and noticed some older kid walking around in circles like he was crazy. Ryo comically sweatdropped and muttered, "Um.....hello?"

" Oh man he ran off without us Blaze." Enjeru said as he strolled to the ceremony after his brother. " Well he is very excited." Blaze said. " Yeah I guess i should be." Enjeru said walking into the building flipping his daggers around. " These are very interesting people eh?" Enjeru said looking at all the kinds of different people. " I hate all of them." Blaze said like they were peasants crossing his arms and looking away. " Oh you hate all exorcist don't you?" Enjeru chuckled. " Not all I like Ryo and you." Blaze said turning his head back. " I'm just messin' with you. Lets go find my brother." Enjeru said as he dashed off looking for his brother.

Kyo stopped as if frozen by time, but Ryo's voice was pleasant none-the-less. "Yo! You need to go to your dorm, right? If so, may I have the pleasure of escorting you?" Kyo asked the underclassman with a handsome and very confident smile as he turned around. Unfortunately, he showed off his beast-like fangs a little. He truly looked happy to see Ryo, but Kyo was trying his absolute best to act as civilized as possible. Besides, he thought that Ryo looked pretty darn good. "So, what's your name, kid?" Kensei asked Ryo as he crossed his arms dominantly.

(Ryo is it okay if I'm your dorm mate?)

" Holy Shit!" Blaze screamed. " That is a demon talking to your brother." Blaze said looking at his brother and a tall man with fangs. Enjeru walked up to him. " Hey, why is a demon here at true cross academy?" Enjeru said hinting his brother.

"Um.....I am looking for my dorm. I'm Ryo Kimura. And you are?" Ryo said. Ryo suddenly heard his brother, "Hm.......demon." Ryo looked at the man/boy's teeth and he noticed an awkward feel coming from him (very good senses) like he was trying to hide something. "Hm.....you're a demon. Probably forced to be here and learn. You're forcing yourself to keep your demon nature back, whatever it is, and to be a student. And a civilized one at that." Ryo deduced and then he yawned, " Demon dude, I got no sleep last night so lead me to my dorm 'cause I wanna hit the sack." Ryo said carelessly. He didn't care that the man was a demon. He knew that if he did anything bad the headmaster would kill him. Of course Ryo would try to kill him too if he tried to attack himself or his brother.

" Did you not hear me this person is a demon." Enjeru said. Oh well maybe he is good like you, Blaze. Enjeru thought. Maybe Blaze answered. " Sorry I believe you are a demon, right? And I'm Enjeru Kimura, his brother."

"Um............I just said he was a demon." Ryo comically sweat dropped.

"Just call me Kyo, and I'm still trying to adjust to modest standard of living. The reason why I'm bound here is so that weak-minded humans are protected from my lustful aura..." Kyo introduced himself and facepalmed with a smile. "Ever since Satan died, Gahenna has gone out of control and danger has been increasing in this world. It is now that pacts are needed to just survive these dark times... Ryo, I have been assigned as your room-mate and I hope we can get along, despite our racial differences." Kyo said seriously as he lead Ryo to their dorm, and opened the door. Surprisingly, it was a VIP room unlike the shabby one he had last time.

" Well see you guys later." Enjeru walked away.

"Damnit.....dad..." Ryo said, realizing his dad had probably paid the principal to give him such a nice room. He hated being rich.

"Just get your rest that you need. I'll wake you up when it's time to go to the ceremony." Kyo said with a kind smile as he helped Ryo into his bed. Kyo on the other hand, just rested on the couch and waited for the time to come. For some reason, he felt okay with this human nearby.

"Um......I can get there fine. I'm not tired." Ryo said. He then lay on the bed and collapsed, It would be nice to slee......... Ryo thought as he fell unconscious. After a while he woke up and saw Kyo sitting on a couch in the room. He then turned to a clock on the wall and it read 2:57. The Ceremony was at 3:00, "God dammit! We're gonna be late. I thought you said you;d wake me up when......never mind let's just get our asses moving before the head master calls my dad and my dad......" Ryo shivered at the thought. He then slipped on shoes and grabbed the blue uniform tie and ran out the door. As he ran he buttoned up his shirt so he didn't look to unformal and he put on the tie lazily. The tie hung around his neck not even tied.

"You're going to have to run faster that Ryo!" Kyo yelled as he picked up Ryo, and carried him over his shoulder as he sprinted at a speed that wasn't humanly possible and making it to the ceremony just when the clock struck 2:59. Kyo then quickly took a seat with Ryo as he apologized in a really apologetic way. Right as they sat down, the ceremony began as scheduled (but it was surprising that Kyo was that fast).

(( Joi attends this school known as Oji and a known half breed thats only power to change his apperances age at will. He is only taking Knight Courses.))


Joi walked down the hallways smiling to himself. He started to spin dragging his fingers across the lockers and snatching up a few loose ones. 'mine,mine, everything is mine, the poor, the rich, the young the old, it doesnt matter~ their souls belong to me~~' he hummed to himself as everyone though he was rather crazy 9 year old child (see second picture). He smiled before walking his way down to the ceremony smiling and humming to himself, his bright green hair standing out. He made it their early enough to snatch some things up. He sat down as things were stuff in his uniform pockets and a rather familiar aura appeared. ~lust~ he smiled to himself before turning around and waving to him with a rather suspicious grin.

Damn it, he's spotted me... I'll just wave and try not to pay attention to Greed... Kyo thought nervously, deciding to wave at Joi with a very fake smile. Kyo would surely be most unlucky now, because he could tell that Joi likely wants him (and Joi always gets what he wants).

Joi laughed and then smiled as he started to climb over the seats and the people. He managed to snatch someones cake in like a split second before climbing onto the lusts lap. He grinned as he started to eat his cake that he recently stole, well not really as it was already his. His much smaller child like structure made him look like salt on a cracker. He grin as he poked the other kid (ryo) trying to snatch something from his pokes and quickly did (a package of gum). He smiled as he started climbing onto his shoulders accidently pulling on his hair roughly to get on his shoulders. He smiled obviously acting like a child, and current his appearance age. He stood maybe at the most 3 foot 3 and weighted maybe 70 pounds. Joi rested his elbows on Kyos head and his fists on his cheeks. "Whos shrimpy and im bored >3<" He pouted like a young child would.

"That's my room-mate Ryo, he's a knight." Kyo said calmly as he remained still, and apparently his hair was a throne for Joi to rest on. However, Kyo just wanted to keep Joi happy. But, Kyo blushed a little because old memories started rushing back.

Joi smiled before giving a evil greedy glance at the Ryo. He knew this boy must have had a fair bit of money by the way he was. Well actually he cold just smell it on him. He laughed before digging his elbows hard into Kyos skull. Joi giggled like a small child before pulled Kyos hair just to torture the demon of lust. Joi then slide down off his shoulders and onto his lap again. "And you still have seduced him yet ? o-O very strange." He gave a dark grin before climbing up to whisper in his ear. "Tell them anything about me Ill be sure to eat your soul in less than a few seconds." He smiled before plopping down then going to climb on the other boy while laughing. He gently punched the kid with his small fist doing as much damage as a 3 year old. " Oi, wheres my money?!" He growled before sticking his hand out farther.

Ryo just sat still as all this happened including when the boy climbed on him. "So you're a demon too, kid?" Ryo completely demolished the little boy's secret, "And why would Kyo seduce me? I don't care who he is there's no way another guy can get me to love 'em. I'm straight dude, all the way." Ryo said, completely ignoring and immune to Kyo's natural aura that made people want to.....have fun with him. Girls and even a couple guys even had slowly started to approach the three, although mostly towards Kyo.

Kyo noticed the people approaching him, and he tried to hide his aura more than usual. Hopefully this would bring the weaker-minded students to their senses. He was worried now that Joi was fairly close because he feared the young boy's temper tantrums. Kyo just wanted to get this ceremony over with, but now his aura was barely noticeable. "What is it that you really want, Joi?" Kyo asked seriously and he wasn't smiling at all, deducing that the other sins must be attending the academy as well.

Ryo just completely ignored Joi for some time and eventually the last speech of the ceremony began. Ryo sighed, irritated as he walked to the front of the auditorium. This speech was given by the top freshman every year. This time his dad hadn't paid for any of it. This time it really because of him and himself only. Ryo was a prodigy after all. Ryo pulled out a piece of notebook paper from his pocket. It was blank. He then continued to make stuff up out of the top of his head about friendship, new starts and all that cheesy-but-always-working shit. After he was done he got a huge applause from the audience and he went back to his seat. The Headmaster continued to release everyone and Ryo slowly walked out of the building.

Joi laughed as the people walked closer to them. He snapped his head around at them climbing over Ryo and Kyo. He only laughed we he approached the weaker students. He gave his dark gaze over at ryo and mouthed something at him. "You dont have to love to have lust or be a little greedy." He licked his lips before walking up to the weaker students and climbing over them. " What is that I want? Everything~ This school, the people in it, they are already mine." He smiled but said in a more demonic language that only he and Ryo would know. After that he lead the people outside to the most unwatched place, and slowly sucked their souls while hiding himself still. He laughed before walking back and seeing Ryo done. He now looked maybe 18 at the most (3rd picture). "Now if it isnt shirmpy~ Congratz on getting on mineimean your award." He smiled as he waiting for Kyo.

Kyo walked up to Ryo, finally finding him. "Do you have any classes next, Ryo?" Kyo asked Ryo politely, acting like he took no notice of Joi at all. Besides, he didn't really appreciate him calling Ryo names.
